Support for .ME domains

 

Configuring .ME Domains

This document explains configuring the domain name software tools to support the new .ME domains.

Applicable to

  • Domain Name Analyzer Pro v4
  • Watch My Domains Pro v3
  • Domain Punch Pro v2.0
  • Watch My Domains ISP v3

1. For Domain name Analyzer, select the Edit > Top level Domain List from the menu. For all the other products select Config Tab > Whois Config from the ribbon bar.

2. Locate "ME" in the list of TLDs and click on it. If you are unable to locate "ME", you can add it to the list using the "Add" button after typing ME into the appropriate box.

3. For Domain Name Analyzer Pro, click Settings button, for the other products the settings are integrated into the same dialog box.

4. Specify the following settings

Whois Server: whois.meregistry.net
Query Prefix:
Port: 43
Search Token: NOT FOUND

Cleanup Token-1: policy.

(The query prefix entry should be blank)

For products other than Domain Name Analyzer (free and Pro) you can also specify the following.

Admin Email Token: Admin E-mail:
Tech Email Token: Tech E-mail:

5. For Domain Name Analyzer click "Whois Server Settings...", then "Advanced Setup...". In the drop down box select "Admin Email Tokens". Then type in the following into the box below.

Now select "Tech Email Tokens" and type in the following into the box below.

Tech E-mail:

Press OK.
