Support for Malaysian (.MY) domains

Configuring MY Domains

This document explains configuring the domain name software tools to support the MY (Malaysian) domains. Please note that the name server information will not be extracted properly at present. We are working on fixing this.

1. Select the Edit > Top level Domain List from the menu.

2. Locate "MY" in the list of TLDs and click on it. If you are unable to locate "MY", you can add it to the list using the "Add" button after typing MY into the appropriate box.

3. Click Settings button

4. Specify the following settings

Whois Server: whois.mynic.net.my
Query Prefix:
Port: 43
Search Token: does not Exist in database

(The query prefix entry should be blank)

5. Now click "Whois Server Settings...", then "Advanced Setup...". In the drop down box select "Creation Date Tokens". Then type in the following into the box below.

[Record Created]

Again select "Expiry Date Tokens" in the drop down list and then type in

[Record Expired]

Press OK.
