The software screen layout consists of two panels and a pane. The top panel holds the domain names and various extracted information in a neat table. The lower panel holds the actual raw whois data for the domain that is selected in the top panel and a Details View.
The following screen shot will make it very clear.

The panel sizes may be adjusted using the mouse. The ribbon bar has an alphabet gallery that will allow you to selectively display domains that start with the corresponding letter. This is especially useful when you have huge lists and scrolling through them is difficult.
Since the software uses a database, it also allows you to display and or lookup domains that satisfy various conditions. Normal SQL queries are used to select what is shown. For example, you may choose to list only the domains that end in "web.com". Even complex SQL queries are supported.
